>TFW girls compliment you on clothing choice
>but then a guy compliments you and it's literally the best feeling ever because you earned their admiration

I feel super awkward but I just say thank you.

quality of clothes go up to a particular level, and then they plateau.

basically, its not worth getting tshirts more expensive than, say, uniqlo supima tees (don't know better quality basic tees that is actually worth) because everything more expensive is generally brand name shit (like supreme or obey) with a brand name or a shitty decal.

I gauge quality of clothing based on fit and style. price is a stupid indicator of quality because causation =/= correlation

last paragraph hits hard

the more I care about something the less power it feels I have to fix it or control it.

sometimes I think about buying ponchos and then I remember ponchos look awful on men

I just want a comfy blanket to wrap myself in as I walk down the streets late at night ;_;

in other words, actions speak louder than words, so my advice is kepp thinking, op.

fuck, meant subjective instead of objective

clothes are a pretty good confidence booster for me personally. when I think I'm dressed well, I feel more confident.

this is completely objective and you can find anything in your life to be "confident" from.

it's worth the price.

but, its also hit or miss on a lot of their stuff. I got a decent wrap cardigan thing for 59 bucks that would be great for fall, but I also feel that they have a lot of shitty jackets.

they are seriously starting to up their design game now, though. I'd predict HM will explode hard and fast in my town.

this thread is the stupidest shit ever.

if cultural appropriation existed we would be quite literally living in dark ages because the majority of inventions were built upon by various countries.

Euros would stay in Europe since compass is Chinese, India would be warring between itself still, and there would be far far less technological innovation.

as a race we need to cooperate with each others to strive into the future. I'm not talking about shitty cultural impositions in other countries like Muslims do in Europe, but in technology.

you could try to use a serger machine to prevent fraying.

it'll lose its "naturally done" look though

also ripped jeans look bad imo

Fashion helps as a lens for your physical aesthetics.

in other words, it can amplify how handsome you look, or it can amplify how built you are (if you wear slim clothing).

Basically, ugly people will look passable at best in good clothing, and good looking people will look good looking in pretty much anything

>hiding behind a designer to mask why something looks bad

Alex Wang released an absolutely shit-tier collection with HM, but I still like some of Wang's stuff

>> No.9016826 [View]

people that get it are insecure
insecurity is not /fa/

they'll just find some other aspect of themselves and overcriticize themselves and ruin their body further.

>"I'm so cold im wearing this heavy parka and a hat, but my feet need that breeze :^)"

if you get anything from the collection get ready for dick jokes.

also this collection is really weak

i-i won't get called out on it right guys?

to elaborate on his point, suede feels nice to the touch but it gets dirty very quickly and its probably the least weatherproof material.

formal shoes are made of suede because you probably won't be trekking through dirt or honeydew, but sneakers with suede make no sense

Its worse than uniqlo x plokhov just because it says Wang all over it.

uniqlo x plokhov had an underlying theme, which was sweat fabric that was minimalist. This is just embarrassing.

if its any compensation, you could use the orange vest for your shipwreck survivor costume next year.

I really want to incorporate shemaghs because they're comfy as fuck and useful, but I can't find any good non-hipster inspo.

beanies are standard winter attire

>> No.9004470 [View]

your entire style is just generic hipster, so its not anything particularly special.

like others said, very punchable face.

would recommend to change hairstyle and hair to something

yeah, that'll work

you could try a white shirt or a cable knit sweater in black/white and it would probably look good.

They can be, but you need very specific clothing to be worn with them to look good

So what should I call Rick's long hoodies? Coats?

>>9000506
I've lurked for a bit, and long hoodies don't look nearly as good as what people make them out to be.

maybe I'm still stuck in 2011 when peacoats were top tier on /fa/
