Do I need any specific type of jeans or can I stack with any regular skinny jeans? if so how?

I can never get my jeans to just sit and stack on top of my hightops because they either spill out the sides and look ugly or go completely over the shoe.

Got my ball coming up soon and I'm wondering what the best colour combo is for suits? I had these in mind but I really have no idea when it comes to this stuff.

- Black suit, Black shirt, Black tie (not really feeling this but idk)

- Black suit, White shirt, Black tie (will look good but everyone will be wearing it)
