ya should be able to use either calcium carbonate, in toothpaste commonly, or sodium bicarbonate, otherwise known as baking soda. in either case they're used to ablat junk off the surface of stuff.

the baking soda's probably a better idea just because it's cheaper. and, aside from the taste, baking soda is also a better toothpaste than toothpaste.

i've been wearing a torc all winter. i end up covering my face with it when it's windy. and i've noticed old black women cross the street when they see me walking towards them. these people are afraid of me because my face is covered. well it's detroit too, people can be skittish around here.

double the minimum wage so poor people don't have to work 60 hours a week. working only 20-35 hours a week, and maintaining the same or higher income, people will have time to cook for themselves, play with their pets and children, and engage in more recreational exercise.

the argument assumes that since the rise of obesity coincides with the erosion of wages over the past 30 that the two phenomena are related.

this is a pretty shallow argument though since i really can't back up the claim that the two things i'm assuming are related are in fact related. but hey having a shitty argument has never stopped ron paul so why should it stop me.

although i can talk shit about one of the first objections to come up when ever anyone mentions a higher minimum wage. it's always something like "but more wages means less jobs". the majority of low paying jobs in the US nowadays are in the service sector which are not exportable. Whatever jobs you do loose come from drives to lower costs by increasing efficiency a net plus for the economy as a whole. since the poor spend essentially all of their income immediately you get a huge increase in spending which offsets any price increases. And lastly the natural experiments where some municipality drastically increases wages relative to the surrounding areas haven't actually been accompanied by increases in unemployment (labor force participation rate might go down though. which seems like a reasonable consequence as women drop out of the workforce because their husband has twice as much take home pay. i'd argue that this is a good thing for society as a whole)
