yeh that's what i said, my point is that going out without knowing you want to directly buy something is just an emotional sport thing. you go outside and you see all this brand new shit in nice looking places, you've gone out with the intention to buy something so you feel you have to, you can't directly compare 100 different options at once or google to see if its being sold 1/2 price somewhere else. you shouldn't really shop like that, even if you have lots of money to spare you might end up buying shit because you haven't had time to think about it. of course there are exceptions to the rule but imo its much safer to shop online, or to check out online first before going to buy something irl

unless you know you really want to go to an apc store or something, theres no point wandering around surrounding yourself by so much ugly shit that you over-estimate how nice something that isn't ugly is. all the good stuff is available online and you can compare prices etc.
unless of course you really really want to try on something you have seen online, or you want to assess the quality of a store or find jeans
