This is a common view or belief of people, but it's actually not true. Single people can adopt, at least in most places.

I guess it theory it makes sense, that couples that can't naturally have kids are a small percent, while single people, who want kids but don't have a partner, should, again in theory, be an equal or greater number.

Yeah, it is better for a child to have both parents, but a child in a good home is still better than the places they keep them.

Due to single males generally being discriminated against, the laws are changing, and I am actually (at the start) of a long process of trying for adoption. In future I could have a daughter.
