Use crew fiber and style it outwards, then hairspray, then five minutes later style it the way you want and hairspray it again.

You should use the crew fiber as you would use shampoo, in order to get good control on your hair. Also strong hairspray.

I do exactly the same, when I use the hairspray I wait another 5 minutes and then style it again. For some reason it gives my hair a better texture.

hey yeah I grew it out for a while but it looked really shit for about a week so I got fed up and got it cut.

It's just at my eyes at the moment but I'll probably end up growing it out the same as before.
