yeah i've tried it once, i really liked it. shame that it's so bad for you.

i suppose the point is that 4chan trains you to disengage and forget that. i'm sure there are ways to use 4chan without letting it "get to you" in that manner, but for a guy like me, someone who's always been living life with a strong, pervasive inner voice and a rushing mind... i can't do it.

nothing is outside of me though. we're all fundamentally bound by our bodies and our experiences.

i'm as much of a pulsing mound of gray matter as the next guy.

Yup, weed ruins me. My mind spills out and over.

Alcohol rocks though. Shame it's so much harder to obtain.

it reduces people to a collective, things that are outside of me.

it models how all of the people behind these posts are relegated to being "Anonymous."

there's far too many things to consider about people than what my ego tells me.

i like attention and challenging of my self-concept, but not to the point of it being negative.

it's the state-of-being that 4chan can allow for that gnaws at me. it pervades my life outside of 4chan, and i don't like that.

>recycle bullshit ideology to be favoured by the board

absolutely, and that's a major part of it.

i've acknowledged the absurdist point of view of the universe for a while now.

i don't mind that at all. it's the negative thoughts racing, the doubt, the fears about myself that get stirred about by outside forces.

4chan, and /fa/ especially, do this. We are a board about self-expression, at least to a degree, no? i think that's why poet put up stake here. it's very much a place about finding yourself.

the neurosis trains you to get better, critical, and perceptive. it can absolutely make you better.

but i don't need that neurosis anymore, at least to a degree. i can progress without it.

4chan changes your mind.

my mind and my self-concept is especially susceptible to being molded and shaped. or perhaps i just think about it too much.

i have a tumblr but i haven't used it since September.

Tbh, tumblr probably makes you neurotic as well. i think i'll stay off of it.
