>Thus why I think it's important to look for inspiration outside of just "techwear" (or whatever you're wanting inspo for.) I mean, that's kind of how inspiration works. You find unrelated pieces and shape them and put them together in to a cohesive piece for your own purpose.

Absolutely. There's no doubt that looking for inspiration outside of outfits helps stimulate unique ideas, coordination, and such. People are more prone to emulating as well, when all they look at are outfits and they consequently end up getting the wrong idea about how style works.

I'm sort of drifting here, but a broad and general example of this problem is pretty evident in WAYWT threads. I mean, sure, wear what you want, but be fully conscious about your decisions.

Thanks for stating this, by the way -- good thinking.

Techwear FedEx driver, I actually like it

About the debate over what's techwear and what's not --
At the absolute minimum, I think anything that has the direction/concept or aesthetic of a functional garment or functional outfit at can be considered techwear. Moreover, the outfit as a whole is what really matters -- how much that comes off as techwear, at least, when you look at how cohesive pieces are when put together.

I mean, don't get me wrong, definitely bonus points for actual functionality since that's the core of techwear, but concepts are also worthy of recognition. We're discussing looks, after all -- whether your style is representative of your lifestyle or not is your own business. It's something you just have to get creative with.

As different of an idea as this is, I'm genuinely interested in seeing something like this being made.

Can we get some more color going on here, guys?

I'm not quite sure why that's there. It looks like it's a part of the interface. But, I've never had one before. Maybe you can swipe it up to select other apps/controls?

Samsung's Galaxy Gear S had the right idea with the curved display, but the panel is ultimately too thick, in my opinion. What a shame.

I don't know, but I like it.

What do you guys think about smartwatches? I feel indifferent about them.
They often seem clunky, but I do like the design of the pic related, except the round shape makes it seem a bit silly and impractical.
Does anyone have experience with wearable technology like this?

Only this board (for the most part) would be the one to judge from that perspective. Anyone outside in the real world doesn't look at this guy based on his style. Ugly and boring outfit anyway, tbh

Not that I'm 100% sure of this, but it's almost like he doesn't want you to look at his face full on -- maybe he's insecure about it, so he only wants to be seen in pictures from a certain angle? He's obviously self-conscious, and yes, I'm pretty sure he got some kind of work done for his hair.

Pic related; awkward

There's shouldn't be any pain, my man.
I mean honestly, this board shouldn't be taken seriously to that extent.
There's more than sufficient evidence in WAYWT threads that money can't buy you good looks or a style; go check it out for yourself (beware).

I only come here to sort of browse around and see the different styles and pieces people are talking about or wearing. It's only recently that I've started to purchase more expensive pieces only on the basis of pure quality.

>Does this have to be clothing specifically or can it be any 'aesthetic' image that we enjoy?

Anything kind of image can be inspo, honestly.
It's actually very intriguing, because I really like the outlook in your post, and I have thought of this before, in a strikingly similar manner.

There's a certain 'effortlessness' and spontaneity when it comes to representations or outfits (if you want to be dynamically relevant) associated with this idea. The existence of the setting is what speaks for itself, everything that's going on within it. I've always admired the reality of what people are able to visualize or create and the beliefs or philosophies between each of them. Everyone has what fulfills them; there's something admirable about this aspect of individuality (and life) that is hard to put my finger on.

tl;dr: comfy af

Saw this fit in the last thread. You look great, dude.
I'm not so keen on the matching rips for the jeans, but it's a nice look. The belt actually works well too.

Hey /fa/, do you have any unusual/different inspo that helps you visualize and grasp your style better? Not literally, but conceptually.

Share your weird inspo. I'll start.
Pic related: Pokemon Trainers -- they always look comfy as fuck, and their layers are 10/10. I've always admired their attire since I was a kid.
