Are you white?
If you answered yes, then you're fucked.
Are you a white male?
Double fucked.

Saw some pants like that a bit back, my girl tried them on and they look as retarded as they do in that picture. It's the stitching under the ass that's so retarded.

That's exactly what it is. Same material.

It's not meant for hard use. It's meant to be packaging for our human bodies. So their take on art and fashion and using this Tyvek stuff is that we're like a product--I guess we use ourselves or some shit-- and we go though life, and then get thrown away (die).
Yeah, I dunno, I think I could go to Home Depot and make something myself out of it if I really wanted. $200~ is too high.

Until you read this:
http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disintegrating-designs

"U.E.G. is an interesting company, and an existentialist statement about the temporal nature of life is nice and all, but how about some durable clothing? Disintegrating designs actually seem to be anti-eco clothing. Instead of a piece that will hold up to the test of time, U.E.G. has created clothing that guarantees a need for replacement. Interesting as an art statement, not so interesting for buyers."

The more I look at this, the more I want it. Wish I knew where to find something like it. Love how it looks.

teku, these pants are AMAZING
http://blackdiamondequipment.com/en/mens-pants-shorts/b.d.v.-pants-APL561_cfg.html?dwvar_APL561__cfg_color=Granite#start=1

Worth every cent.

P.S. I'm on the hunt for a mid layer jacket.
-No hood (hoods don't look classy, I've looked).
-Looks good enough to 'go out' in (nothing super fancy, but, you know, out).
-Comfy enough to wear all day, maybe even sleep in.

I love it.
I was born in Colorado, grew up in AZ and CA. Traveled the country (Pacific ocean to Atlantic) by foot and hitchhiking in 2007. Lived in Michigan for a few years and then heard Seattle was "like a clean Portland without all the dirty hippies." Which is pretty damn accurate.

Everything in this thread is right at home where I live 6-8mo of the year. I dress this way daily.
