My Mum hates my Geos with a passion. She's mostly okay with my other goof, but occasionally asks me to wear something else other than black/grey all the time. For her sake I will on the rare occasion give in just whilst I'm staying over at her house, but I don't make a habit of it because then she'd start expecting it all of the time. If she had her way I'd be wearing basicbitch smart-casual all the time.

My Dad on the other hand seemed to actually encourage my goof as he saw taking some pride in my appearance a good thing (because I'm usually socially retarded with low self-esteem), even if he doesn't necessarily actually like the look I'm going for. Now that effect has worn off as he's gotten used to it, but I think for the most part he doesn't care either way other than the rare comment on my Geos (he seems to just think they're odd, but he doesn't express dislike towards them)

I tried and couldn't find a way to get it off. I actually ended up accidentally snapping the entire thing when I got less patient.

If your opinion is because of how untidy and cheap/tacky furnished it is - then I agree.

However, I think the space and layout would actually be comfy as hell for one person.

Tidy it up and decorate it in a minimalistic and modern way and it could be pretty beautiful imo.

Does anyone know where I can cop a desk like the one in this pic?

I dislike desks with unnecessary drawers, keyboard trays, etc - but I also find plain flat desks dull. I want a desk with a unique and/or interesting shape, without taking away too much desk space. This pic is the only one I have that does that (I'm open to other suggestions that fit my description)

I agree - I've always loved those kind of walls - personally I wouldn't have a concrete floor too though - I'd have a black floor of some kind to contrast with it.

If I took care of myself I might be decent..

but I don't.. so here I am

I am naturally thin, but I do a general workout 3 days a week and I intend to switch it to a 4 or 5 day workout specific to different muscle areas when I feel I'm ready.

I don't do any cardio.. I know I should though.

8.5/10 - nice and minimal - I like it a lot - I think I may actually switch it - but here's what I was using

I actually prefer to have non-/fa/ friends because I feel especially /fa/ next them in comparison. It also makes my expensive purchases feel much more justified.

In some ways I'd hate having /fa/ friends because I'd have to make an effort just to be average next to them. In other ways I'd love it though because I'd have more valuable opinions to listen and hopefully a bit of healthy competition.

What I don't like are the anti-/fa/ people (not to be confused with those who are just apathetic towards fashion). These people either hate on fashion because they see it as attention seeking and snobby, or they hate on it because they have a completely backwards view on what is fashionable, and are completely deluded and over-confident that their view is always the one and only correct one.

The first category is somewhat understandable and agreeable and as such, forgivable. The second category however I despise.

You may think 'how do you know that you're not the second category?'

I know this because I am open to other opinions and take a liking to a range of styles.

I don't really browse - I just use it from time to time to get a rating.

It helps guide me with what I need improving on and see whether the improvement actually makes a difference or not once I go through with it.

when I first went I used to get a rating of 4. Now I get a non-sarcastic 9/10 occasionally so it goes to show how their advice is working, and how I have much more potential than I originally thought.

It's the same as a WAYT thread here, or a progress thread on /fit/, except instead of my body or clothing, they are rating my face and hair (and I guess /fit/ness a little bit if it's clear you are /fit/ from just your shoulders up).

Most boards in fact have an equivalent. Battlestations, desktops, guts, video game collections, etc - they are all forms of rate threads.
