Why not just go browse the lookbook/catalogue of a shop you like, or ya know, read some fashion magazines/websites/influencers?

Check out a basic store like GU, Uniqlo, Muji. Maybe some magazines like Classy, Ginger, Mina. A website like Vogue. For influencers just click to instagram popular and look around till you see someone you like.

The concept of 'basics' that supposedly work for every style will just cost you money and you will end up with clothes you don't really like.
