You should definetly cut it imo. With this kind of ubermensh face shape you could try some HY. You don't really have to have strait hair, just buzz the sides and keep the top short. If i were you, i'd try it.

As for products, I always recommend Oribe or SumoTech by Bumble and Bumble. They are slightly expensive but will work fantastically.

A bigger picture may have helped. Your hair definitely seems very frizzy. Id recommend using a deep conditioner once a week to make your hair softer. This will make your curls slightly more relaxed and will prevent frizz. Leave-in conditioners are also a great method to reduce frizziness.

As for a haircut, I'm not a huge fan of what you have right now. You have good facial features so short sides could really compliment them. As for the top length, that is something you will have to experiment with!

only pushing it back won't do that much. you need to controle your hair and make it do what you want. try forming it by blowdrying the sideparts in the direction you want them when they are wet. then fix it with product. pomade is very greasy and shiny. maybe try a wax instead? for the future i would try to find a style that works with how your hair grows instead of trying to force it into another direction, cause that can be a pain in the ass and a lot of work evrey day. i still think longer hair would be your best bet.

Your hair looks good as is. I think an extra inch or two on the top would look great. That way you can wear it back, to the side, to the front and all sorts of ways. Go for a "messy" look. Keep the sides cleancut though. It looks a lot better that way.

I am thinking about growing dreads. I know that it will take at least two years for a decent length (at least under the shoulder blades) and that it can be rough to maintain. First of all, I would like to know if that style would fit with my face.

How often are you washing your hair? You could probably make it less poofy by washing it only when absolutely necessary and conditioning it the rest of the time. Also, if you want more defined curls try combing your hair when it's wet and then messing it up a bit while it's still wet.

My hair's pretty fucked up - it looks damaged and frizzy, even though I don't use any heat or products on it. It used to be really smooth and straight a few years ago and when I was a kid, but now it's shit.

I tried not shampooing for a few days (only using conditioner + water), and it got greasy while looking dry at the ends. I use Argon Oil leave-in conditioner and 'ethnic hair' shampoo, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Part it with a comb when it's very very wet, then let it air dry a little so that you can blow dry it in the direction you parted it to. Do it at a little bit of an angle so that it goes to the side and back or whatever . When it's completely dry apply a tiny bit of product like a fiber or wax.
