i think some supreme pieces are still nice but alot of the appeal is ruined by 'people' who just purchase the brand because of the name rather than actually liking or knowing about the subject of the products e.g les miserables shirt

most of their jackets are made in china, and there wasnt any obvious shoddy stitching. its cool that the graphics are separate pieces instead of being printed on the arm

I own a shit ton of cavempt sweatshirts and a couple jackets and I've never been mad at the quality of construction. this jacket in particular is fine (China is w/e to me), my only real complaint would be that for the price point I'd want them to use higher quality zippers than some generic cheap YKK's especially when I'm cashing out 400 bucks for a jacket.

it is also not water resistant in the slightest. great fall jacket otherwise though.

c.e produces sweatshirts and tees in jp, shirts and jackets in China to the best of my knowledge.

well, back early on in my high school days, I was all about bape hoodies. their sweatshirts were ridiculously nice to me, I felt that they were worth how much I was cashing out. super soft, terry fleece insides that had that luxurious feel to them... and all that shit was produced in jp too.

cavempt sweatshirts give me that same feeling. not too thick (like say supreme fw) but definitely heavier and more substantial than your standard hoodie.. but so damn comfy. kind of a nostalgic thing too I guess.

plus all their sweatshirts are cut totally different and in an interesting way. that hands crewneck I have has NO shoulder seams whatsoever. no raglan, nothing. the top navy half, including body and sleeves, is made out of a single piece of material which is just such a sick detail. I also have the red heavy hoodie that came out in FW2014 and it just fits like nothing else I've tried on. super dropped shoulders and wide arm holes, and the whole sleeve and body is paneled with gusseting. ridiculous.

zips are def minimal, and tonal which is cool, but I mean. plastic zips on a 400+ jacket is almost unforgivable lol. sk8thing and nigo were using custom branded ykk japan metal zips on bape stuff. this is just a plastic lowend ykk that you could get off of anything.

c.e construction is good, but their hardware... another story.

honestly, I've bought most of my stuff straight from the cavempt webstore. after inevitable customs fees it pretty much equals out to US markup anyway. you just get it faster and you don't have to worry about which stockists will get what items/ colorways.

downside to buying from ce webshop is that their stock photos aren't that detailed and measurements aren't always very helpful since the garments themselves are usually cut wide/ short/ interestingly so it's hard to understand a piece's intended fit. I usually lurk notsplit (they p much get their c.e delivery within a week of a new drop) for detailed product and fit shots and then decide from there

picked up a couple pieces at trichome in person when I was visiting seattle though. they were super chill, I'd definitely buy from them again.

Seems like I'm of the very few that was disappointed with this years SS collection. A lot of the graphics were relatively decent but the colour choices were hideous in comparison to previous years.
