GENERAL DENIM THREAD POST YOUR DENIM AND DENIM QUESTIONS HERE
So I can get my hands on a pair of True Religions jeans for less than 50, would it be worth it at that price point? The pair looks like pic related, surely it can't be too autistic.

>> No.9956932

Ive had two pairs of 511s for about a year that fit perfect (black and indigo). Picked up two more in the same size and wash but after several machine washes are still baggy af. How can I shrink them more?

>> No.9956943

>>9956932
Throw them in the dryer, I guess? Either that or hot water soak, idk what else to tell you. Sometimes just giving your pants a break will let them shrink a bit.

>> No.9957578

>>9956943
Ill give the hot soak a try. Usually machine dry anyway so I can wash more often when they get dirty at work.

Thanks for the feedback m8 :^)

How are levis black skinny jeans? I've been living out of 1 pair of h&m jeans and I need some others that fit kinds tight.

I was reading around and apparently they used to carry 511 super skinny but stopped or something??

Pic related: might be worth trying

>> No.9958465

>>9958341
They still have 510s which are the super skinnies. They're under "special sizes" or something like that on their site. I have heard that they don't make the 510s in black as skinny as they used to. I have a pair and the quality and fit is not as good as the other 510s I have.

Sort of relevant question:
I got a pair of Wrangler cowboy jeans because of the mid waist (I want to tuck in my shirts) and I got them tailored a bit because they were way too big. They still are too big but I haven't worn or washed them. Should I do what it says in your pick before I take them back to get them tailored?

Quick question, how should these mid waisted jeans fit on a skelly dude? I'm after the greaser look. All my jeans are very skinny

>> No.9958483

>>9958443
Nah it's not narrow at all man. I wanted to get them tapered around the ankles just a bit but it's whatever.

what colour are they to begin with? They could turn out a kind of yellowish white and the threads most likely won't change colour. Use a full bath tub and rinse them out. Or you can use a spray bottle. Wear gloves. You might have to dye them for a very short period of time in diluted blue dye afterward to retain the colour.

Yes, cutting tends to be better at >100 mark from my experience but caps out at around $200. Beyond that its just unique fabrics, repro details done to precision and different manufacturing locations and techniques.

Not a fan at retail tbh especially here in aus where it hits 2-300$ easy. They cater to a wide audience though with their different cuts and are generally regarded as a great entry brand for raw denim & selvedge denim without looking like a middle aged cowboy

What company makes cheapo, thin, stretch skinny jeans that won't get too baggy in the knees and don't have diaperbutt?

I have a pair of H&M skinnies that have severe diaperbutt, butt I'm thinking it's because they're the cheapest pair they have. Or, I have no ass.

Would like super slim ankles/leg openings, too. I want to tuck them into some high tops.

you might want to try the 3sixteen sl 220x model if you have big thighs. If 511 fit you well, the sl model should work for you also.

What jeans have this good of an under seem. Preferably black or dark navy and good quality, I don't care about price. I just want them to last.

I want to roll them up like this with some cheap cp clones until I can start properly forming my own taste.
