I quite like mine. If this thread's still up tomorrow I'll try to post some pics.

I have a black leather pair and a tan suede pair. I've the black leather ones for about half a year now and there's some creasing but I never waxed them or anything and wore them during bad weather too. The tan suede ones I've had for about two months and I sprayed them with a suede protector once and they're holding up well and look pretty nice, very happy about them.

They're my entry-pair Chelseas anyway, so if I can get maybe two years out of them I'll be more than happy.

price isn't really a factor because people are happy picking up some asos junk for $50

i think it's hard to say that such a common and generic style of footwear is going to blow up but you're definitely going to start to see more and more people emulating the slp emaciated twink look with whatever they have

i'd like to say that they're at least a while away from maximum cultural oversaturation

then again a well made pair of boots from a good maker is relatively timeless and you could easily be wearing the same pair 10 years down the line regardless of what other people are doing

i still can't help but feel that a lot of people into the slp look and specifically the slp boots are going to experience some buyers remorse/heavy bitterness 6-8 months down the line when everyone else is happily walking around in their asos/aldo chelseas

i live in australia and see a few dozen people wearing chelseas every day, from businessmen to uni marxists, simply because it's a generic style of boot and there's a lot of makers doing them at reasonable prices (rmw, baxter, rossi)

it's definitely not a style that's going out of fashion within the foreseeable future

Yes
People just have zero imagination or creativity here so you mostly see 1:1 SLP runaway copy fits with zara clothes. They are basically low key boots, if the fit works with boots the chances are you can rock chelseas with it as well. Naturally full military inspired fit with chelseas will probably look bit goofy but just use common sense.

pull your head out of your ass, there's no "rebelliousness" in SLP

>i look just like sid vicious in these $700 jeans and $5000 leather jacket!

SLP has always been about "hilariously overpriced designer cocksucking", believing otherwise is just you being tricked by their advertising

this is true about many styles. including workwear styles. niggas pay ~700+ for vibergs that never see a day's worth of actual work.

lol nobody has ever worked in vibergs, they wouldn't even hold up, it's a fashion boot

i don't think it's that bad as designer clothing, it's just too basic and clean to be punk or "rebellious"

if you want expensive punk clothing you can just get UC or blackmeans

I got mine for 370 on sale. Should've seen the guys face in the RMW store in melbourne central when I told him I was going to Bendigo to save 70 bucks.

those are chestnut comfort craftsman. I was worried about the chisel toe being too square but its actually fine.

Sweet. Did you try both the regular & comfort craftsmen?

Locally I can only try out the regular one, so I'm wondering if sizing is different between it and the comfort version.

>> No.9953750

>>9953731
i feel that, chisel toe looks so blunt on the racks but it's actually pretty nice on the foot

>>9953744
i think there might be a difference but it's pretty negligible, as far as i'm aware the size you're measured up for in-store is absolutely the size you should buy for every pair regardless of last shape. search through the styleforum thread if you want to be 100% certain

>> No.9953751

>>9953744
Yeah I tried both on, I'm not used to leather soles so I went with the comfort model's rubber sole. The sizing is the same as far as I could tell, but the toebox on the leather soled version is very slightly shorter.

To my surprise the round toed models had clunkier looking toe boxes than the chisel toed craftsman and looked more like average work boots.

turnouts and other round toe models are pretty ugly but still aren't as bad as the "extra wide" models, pic related. narrow-medium toe on the macquarie and the yearling boots is by far my favourite though.

craftsman, macquarie and stockman are all good bets i think

Copped tan suede chlelseas from Marks and Spencer, seem really nice for price. Have some ideas but does anyone have some non-adrogynous inspo that isnt Harry Styles
