To answer OPs question, yes it is more of a business look but honestly I think you could pull it off depending on the suit and what you wearing with it. Unless you are well connected most wedding guest know next to nothing on the nuances of men's formal wear.

Unless there's a certain dress code or something I think a sports jacket with a fitted collar shirt and a tie would be alright.

Yeah its a terrible fit on the model. I ordered the same size because I have larger chest and shoulder measurements. I'll probably get it tailored more when I get it.
