Anyone else get burnt out of fashion after a while? Every couple months or so I just start feeling like clothing is pointless and there's no reason I should be buying as much as I am. Then after a week of that or so, I just pick up right where I left off buying stuff.

How much clothing is too much? How often do you rotate old pieces out of your wardrobe and buy new ones?

I focus on quality, not quantity. I only have high quality "classic" items as I travel a lot with no base camp. When I tire of something I sell it. Maybe time you had a clear out and only keep the stuff you love.

I find myself getting rid of all the stuff I don't wear, and now I kinda just don't know where to start. I feel like all I wear is t shirts jeans and some expensive sneakers lol.
Wardrobe consists of:
3 jeans, 1 trouser
fuck ton of solid colored t shirts
3 outerwear pieces
a button down or two

Idk I just feel very bland so I try to buy new pieces, and when I do I feel like shit and get burnt out so quick.

It is a hobby, it will last until you find something more interesting to do. I used to do a lot of DIY; most of my stuff are DIY, but because of uni I have not been able to

this !
When you discover /fa/ you just keep buying new stuff but after a while you realize that you don't need that much clothing and only wear and buy things you really love. It just takes time.

OP here, I've been here for almost 2 years. I don't really impulse buy or buy anything I know I won't wear frequently. The only reason I really get rid of things is because it doesn't fit into my style.

Same. Was buying tonnes of stuff during the classic menswear /fa/ phase. Got bored. Stop for a year, back to /fa and suddenly everything I should buy are black pieces and designer sneakers. And now its palewave. Got a 2nd night job to fuel this hobby though.

This
I always binge on /fa/ then end up leaving /fa/ for a month or two because I always end up spending a ton of money and feeling like shit.

I do this in hopes that I'll get off my ass, go to the gym and put on weight/muscle and outgrow my current size. But long story short, I never do and probably never will. skeltol4lyf
