aside from my wet feet, this is how a normal shopping experience is supposed to be. best experience to date is chatting with an issey miyake SA about miyake's ideas and approach. we got relatively deep and abstract for a couple of strangers. he gave me his card and i want to go back and buy something some time soon.

also had a nice conversation with a barneys perfume SA. i mentioned i liked florals, especially a deep rose. she offered a sample of portrait of a lady and my involuntary response was "Wow!" she nodded her head as if she had seen this reaction many times. tried a few other things and gave me her card. left with a couple other malle samples. i know SAs are paid to compliment and be friendly but i also feel a little bad when i often leave without a purchase.

I never walk into stores at the mall with no shopper in them. I would buy everything online but I like to try things on first because im scared of getting the wrong size.
