Its an aquired taste. 2 years ago i wouldnt have been able to take more than a sip of the beer i posted. I had to work up to it. Now normal beer tastes like how pbr tastes to someone who drinks yeungling.

but i think its valid. the difference between a "great" macrobrew and a "pretty good" craft beer is usually miles apart in quality and flavour.

i think it was once quite /fa/ about 4-6 years ago before it really hit the mainstream hard. now its so mainstream that it isnt cool any more.

i have no idea whats cool in the world of alcohol now. i have a feeling it may have been spiced rum about 6 months ago but i think that too has waned.

If you're talking about fedora tier alcohol, look at the "muh classy scotch and whiskey" kind of person. There's nothing fedora about craft beer, just don't be a snob about it.

My friends and I have started going to a local grocer where you can pick out single craft beers. It's great, most of them are local and they tend to be a lot better than macrobrews.
