leather isn't a good option for building snowmen because it's not going to look as good after it's soaking wet. it's also not going to stay warm after it's soaking wet. you'd be better served with soft shell gloves that continue to look good and stay warm while wet.

I just wear latex gloves. If it's really cold out I'll wear a regular pair of gloves under my latex gloves. Just carry a couple pairs in your pocket and wear them over your /fa/ gloves if you want to fuck with the snow and then throw them away when you're done.
