Hey /fa/, I recently moved into a new apartment and I need help with finding good furniture.
Not avant-garde uberpriced stuff, but black and a bit stylish.

Also, General room thread.

Not sure where to cop simplistic, abstract paints like this though

I could probably just do it myself I guess, doesn't look very hard

The super monochrome rooms white black can on white can actually be slightly obnoxious on the eyes. It looks cool in photos but it would be nice to just add a little bit more color to break it up.

Eames is nice and all, but they are a bit more ubiquitous than the Soft Pad lounge chair.

As ubiquitous as a $4000 chair can be I guess.

Seconding this, slightly interesting in concept, but in action is ugly and a complete waste of space. I feel like the novelty of it would without dissipate to reveal a lifetime of buyer's remorse.

growing up, my parents had a bootleg eames chair. it's held up perfectly and they've had it for about 30 years. my question for /fa/ would be... if the quality of a bootleg piece of furniture is good enough that it can last that long and the difference in appearance is minimal if any, does /fa/ have a beef with replica furniture?

Okay but I thought those pallets were supposed to be like, the worst thing you could be touching, or that your mattress could be on, just due to chemicals and such?

Unless you got them clean from a place that sells clean pallets. I don't know. I like the idea but it's like, for what you spend on clean pallets, just get a more functional frame, right?
