/fa/, how do i go about being a presentable black guy? It's pretty easy to separate myself from each type of black person (on a ghetto level), but how do I go about a more "that's the kind of guy you could see getting along with everyone" look?

Say if I were to go to a party/club/bar, you can immediately tell people are thinking "sigh, another/more black guy(s)" (not implying racism, but you can sense these vibes). I want to be the guy who looks good from the get go. I know that clothes alone won't do the trick, and a bit of personality and appearance are important factors to the mix, but since this is /fa/ what advice could you give a fellow black man? I feel people (men and women of all ages) like to avoid me because I don't come off too presentable.

Feels like that could get expensive to start expanding on my wardrobe to appeal to each new crowd I'd hope to get along with. At the same time, though, it sounds exciting. My advice is to be neat, clean and well-groomed and reasonably eloquent. Your style is yours, as long as you don't look like a ghetto monkey anything will do. You seem friendly and upbeat, and I think that's what counts.
Basically this is the advice I'd give anyone regardless of ethnicity.

With your skin colour you can pull off bold colours very easily, so I'd suggest getting some pieces that aren't TOO bold(as in, neon or lime green), and matching some bolder details with that.
But that isn't a necessity IMO, it's something you can try on in front of a mirror and see how you like it. The important thing is to be neat, buy well-fitting clothes and don't think too much about how you dress (within reason, don't go full sperglord weeb either). Think about how you can get the most comfortable fit you can that will still look decent, for example.

Ah, man. Unfortunately I wasn't blessed with the facial hair gene. I can grow a mustache, but it's that "baby's first mustache" (pedo) kind of facial hair, which sadly separates me from being an adult/kid. I do have small afro, that I let do with what it pleases (just grows) but I don't experiment with styles, which I feel I should do more of. Somewhere I heard that some hairstyles can bring out certain features or structures of the face. I just don't know how much variety you can get out of curly black hair.
