I know this might seem odd, but what clothes can a skinny male wear that are somehow 'sexy'?

Skinny pants for example are showing off your legs, so anything like that.
Basically what slutty clothes can a guy wear, v-necks are out of the question that's fuccboi shit.

Alright /fa/ so here is the deal.

I need a pair of black sneakers I can wear in the rain and not fuck them up.

Been thinking of copping pic related or leather nike blazers.

But to me, black leather has always come off as something that took sneakers from casual wear like canvas to a streetwear style sneaker, and thus I've never owned any leather sneaks in black.

Am I overthinking this? I wore canvas all the time because where I was from it was hot and it never rained, so when I moved out of my desert town to somewhere much cooler and rain-ier, I realized canvas isn't gonna cut it anymore. I just don't want my shoes to say something completely different than the rest of my outfit, feel me?

Ok /fa/, I'm here from /fit/, with a problem that the sticky and an adequate amount of lurking haven't answered.
I'm 19, and I'm in an environment where all the people my age are immature, and this leads me to socialise with a group of 23-27 yr olds. Now this is all well and good but I can't help but feel like I stick out as the "youngun" and no girl takes me seriously and no guy appreciates my opinion cause I'm a baby to them. So I want to look older. Hence /fit/ but I'm stuck with my dress sense. I can't grow facial hair because work requires me to be clean shaven and if I dress up I look young cause I'm in menswear and I'm not a man, and if I dress my age I stick out and look young cause everyone else is in menswear. Wat do?

Tl;dr young and want to dress older. No facial hair.

that's an alright way of dressing honestly, not immature in the slightest (expect the cheap sneakers maybe) I doubt you can look older by dressing different, you probably just have a very young looking face, in that case you just have to bear with it until you're older
either that or your body language and the way you talk
the only other thing that might make someone appear younger would be having a really immature shitty haircut, but if I judge you correctly you probably have a decent one

based on what you've said about your style you should be fine. trying to hard to dress #certified menswear and dadcore will make you seem more like a child playing dress-up as you said. just stick to the basics (well fitting jeans and tshirts/polos without a shitty embroidered logo, and black or white shoes). maybe get rid of some of your v-necks? Earthen color palettes as well as black/white/grey scale. nothing flashy or neon.

realistically the only reason you get treated as a child is because to your friends, you kinda are...your older friends may feel a bit weird hanging out with you since you're younger than them. are their life experiences so significantly different from yours that it warrants them treating you like a child - no. are their life experiences different enough that they can get away with not taking you seriously enough/taking the piss - yes.

you want them to take you more seriously? be more intelligent - read a ton, follow current events, make your own opinions, be open minded to different perspectives, admit it when you don't know something instead of bullshitting. if they treat you like a kid, give them reason not to, and if they continue just laugh it off. they probably see that you get agitated when they treat you like a child and you getting mad is cute/plays along with their childish image of you. don't let shit bother you, and if you cant stay unrustled and don't want to go back to the "immature" friends that are your age then find a group of pretentious narcissists like yourself who think they are "wise beyond their years" and "too mature for others their own age"

I'm 6'3 with a 37 inch chest and a 30 inch waist. Should i get medium or large in the Shield jacket? Most websites have models that are 6'1 and wearing size medium with the exception of Totokaelo whose model is 6'2 and wearing large and Farfetch (pic related) who is 6'3 and wearing a medium in the black one, and a large in the white. I've emailed about 6 places online, most say i should go medium, and one said go large for the sleeve length. Still waiting to hear back from Totokaelo. I've tried on the Acne Montreal coat in size medium and the sleeves were kinda short for reference. What size should i cop?

So I think the inseam on these jeans is too much to look good. (They are 510s). They just look off to me. Might be they don't fall over the shoe or something, but they don't stack in the way I figured they would. So what are my best options?
-take them to a tailor for like 15 bucks and get them hemmed by 2 inches(I'd have to find a tailor) I just worry that'd fuck up the taper.
-order a pair with 32 inch inseam from Levis for 47 bucks after shipping (sale + student)
-order a tapered pair from Uniqlo since I've seen more pics of those looking good.

Sorry I'm new to wearing non slim-straight pants, since I've had chicken legs so long, but now that I'm in college trying to broaden my horizon a bit.

I could probably sell these for 30 bucks or so since I never wear them.

I don't really think this question deserves its own thread so I guess I'll ask it here.

I'm already skelly /fa/, but I don't have enough definition to look good shirtless. I've deduced that swimming would be a good way to get nice muscle definition without becoming ripped, but my only apprehension is the effect of chlorine on hair. I already have fairly dry and frizzy curly hair, so I'm unsure of how bad the chlorine will affect it.

Any guys here swim that could give some input on this?

Get a swim cap. Your hair will still get a bit wet but it won't get anywhere near as destroyed as it would swimming capless. Rarely are they effay, but if you're good looking and wearing a siqq fit in all other areas, then yea you could definitely rock them. However, in most cases I've seen people wear them they're part of a lazy, uninspired fit worn by an average or below average-looking joe who's not trying to be fashionable at all. They've become like vans in the sense that they're a cop-out shoe people buy when they don't know what else to wear.

Not to say they can't EVER work, pic related is a fit where the guy wears them nicely.

Compounds, brother. Deadlifts, cleans, squats, bench, OHP. You can spend less than 45 minutes in a gym and get a full body exercise if you don't mess around. I swam for like five years when I was younger and had a skinny/ottermode body. But it took forever to get and once I started lifting I got defined way faster.

They're both great workouts, but if you're really set on swimming then I recommend finding out what lifts you can do to supplement it. It'll make your strokes better and help you get more defined.

i need some help what isnt actually that much /fa/ related
my question is: how to speak english more fluently if you are NOT a native english speaker

for example, when im doing things which have english in background, as in rapping along to rap music, my english and pronounciation sounds very good, but when i speak, i sound very clunky and have that accent in my voice

>> No.8936934

>> No.8936951

>>8936878
>>8936934
Yeah. Practice m8, just go out and make conversation. Or just sit at coffee shops and listen to people. Kinda weird, but you get the just of it.

When you started speaking your native language, did you speak nice and fluently? Prob. not, you spoke in broken tongue and the only accent you had was more of an imitation.

As you speak to more and more people, it will go away if you are dedicated to it. I know a Korean that has a perfect English voice. His older brother wasn't nearly as good, but it got better and less aggressive.

The point is, you seem to be aware of what you are doing, so just focus on that problem.

What might also help is watch a movie you like, and just repeat the phrases in it a couple of times so you can hear it. Taking a shot in the dark, but the best way of learning anything first is imitation.

Uhh most shit, obviously

Use it as a base layer or as an element in itself

So wear it under a flannel with chunky wool crew neck for A/W cosy, or under an oxford w/ a navy cable jumper for prep, or simply by itself (if you have a decent physique and it fits right)

Not a difficult piece friend

>>8938297
to each their own. I don't like that fit in a more realistic context. it works on the model because it all fits extremely well and there's nice lighting, and anything can work decently under those circumstances. I think on a normal person the juxtaposition of a long coat with a button up under a sweater with sweatpants would look confused as fuck and most likely fail.

the way i see it is that preppy is very traditional. it's often just redoing colors and color schemes into select types of clothing.

hipster is always trying to rework traditional to be edgy. doing shit like flipping a cross or an american flag upside down. or wrapping a scarf around your neck 6 times. or growing a beard, but growing it 5x as long as anybody else would.

What kind of boots to wear in winter? I live in northern Finland so there will be snow and cold. What I've considered so far:

Red Wing 2945 Logger (heritage)

Something by Timberland

Solovair boots (maybe a bit too skinhead-ish)

I even considered Haix Colorado for a while but they are too ugly even for an non-/fa/ggot like me. The boots need to be at least semi-practical however or else they will be useless in the conditions I'll be wearing them in.
