This June some friends and I will be walking from Minnesota to Washington state and back. Need some fa shoes that will stand a couple hundred miles of walking, at least + be somewhat comfortable.

sounds what your doing is hiking not walking and what you want is to get some boots. unless you will be jogging/running a large majority of the time than you want some kind of running shoes. and if you are really going several hundred miles absolutely wear socks. and not no-shows. wear legitimate socks. if you are truly this ill prepared, you are going to seriously regret attempting that trip.

Free runs will probably be the best FOR your feet, whilst being comfyish at the same time.

I'd say use them a bit before the walk too bc they feel super goat when they're worn in a bit. Have had a pair for 3 years which I've run in most days and theres literally no visual damage to the bottom of the shoe.

You are going to hike 200 fucking miles.
You don't need /fa/ boots.
You need fucking hiking boots.
As an amateur hiker, i personally advise the lowa renegade gtx (also it doesn't look too autistic for a pair of hiking boots)
