How clsoe do belt and shoes have to match? I always hear that they need to be identical, but if they are a few shades off it isn't a big deal either.

What the hell is wrong with your body's proportions?

Just how they fit on me. I wear a small in most things, and their oxfords don't feel slim in the torso. I sized down to an XS and that was too tight and uncomfortable.
I have no upper body development, so I was actually pretty surprised.

1. Buy a shirt that fits your shoulders
2. Buy a sewing machine on craigslist
3. Turn shirt inside out
4. Sew diagonal lines along the edges of your shirt
5. Turn shirt right side out again
6. You now have a tapered shirt

I haven't tried out that many shirts, but I can say that out of the ones I've tried Club Monaco was the only one that came near a reasonable slim fit. They also have relatively long sleeves so you don't have to worry too much about getting a smaller size.

Quality is alright, but I honestly don't know what else I would get outside of tailoring. Living in a small town in Western Canada doesn't help, because there's barely any options to try out nice clothes without driving in to the city.

It means you are inbetween sizes. Don't hate the brand just because they don't make a billion different sizes.
