I know my comfycore bros are out there somewhere, dreading the days when we can't wear dem sandals anymore. It's right around the corner.

We got any Fall / Winter comfycore inspo?

The only thing that springs to mind is something like pic related, but that's still Trove doing what Trove does anyways.

F/W is the best season for comfy. You can wear handsewns with deerskin lining and wool socks for maximum comfy, since you lose sandals
also boots, though they tend to not be that comfy

I always feel cozier in a nice sweater rather than a plain one.

I own some wool CDG pants that are really nice but idk what to wear them with. Give me some nice stuff to buy. Sweaters, cardigans, socks, shoes, shirts (button-downs?). Anything that would go with the comfy aesthetic.

Here's a nice outfit from Styleforum's ghostface
A thick handknit cardigan over a shetland wool sweater, paired with Commes des Garçons Homme Plus (I'm guessing yours are Homme though?) and Carpe Diem boots
You have a good amount of volume down below, so you probably want to balance that with volume up top - for example, a generously cut button-down paired with a long, shawl neck cardigan, or even a similar shawl cardigan layered over a lighter, differently colored cardigan and a tshirt
Be sure to make sure the rest of the fit has interesting textural accents, if it's just a standard crisp cotton broadcloth shirt and a boring cotton twill parka on top, it'll look pretty uninteresting
But really, give them to me

hmm okay. I'd suggest thrifting for sweaters, jackets, and flannels. I'd also suggest AA and uniqlo for some basics (they both have pretty clean modern themes though). are looking for a more modern or classic style?

that's cool. yeah, I mean if anything size up, but often times I'll just grab a sweater at Goodwill if I like it regardless of the size. unless it's too small, which is hardly a problem because most stuff there is donated by people who've lost weight or died of weight related complications
