Guys I trimmed the back of my hair but I need to do something else with the sides and don't want to go to a barber.

Also, I think I'm balding from right here now in addition to my M recession that may or may not be getting worse.

Also, how the fuck do you deal with coarse hair this shit sucks like 99% of the time but looks cool wet, what kind of product would give me hair the slick, wet look without being too greasy?

Shit tier hair here, looking for ideas to make it better.

So I have this really straight, heavy and flat hair that is just unmanageable. Whenever I put some product in it, it will just droop out to it's original flat stage. I've tried many different gels, pastes, waxes, blow drying, pretty much everything. Even after going to a barber where I got pomade and hair spray on it, it wouldn't hold for more than a few hours. I've tried getting it thinner but that doesn't help much either. Am I bound to go for really, really short cuts or grow it to a manbun or something because I just can't style it so it would hold for a day or so.

bought some after running out of wax the other day, this is right after putting it in, before it dries a little, but by the end of the day it just looks greasy and kind of gross, not sure what i'm doing wrong... maybe my hair is wrong for it?

cut the sides and back short, save the top but thin it out (make your hair less dense, especially at the back, because it sticks up a lot at the moment) and then comb/gel the top to the most natural side.
