I've tried so many shit products and creams.

My skin's a gross rough looking texture and my pores are huge. I also suffer from redness left behind from adolescent acne.

My skin will be clear as shit and then randomly flare up with literally 20 cystic pimples that last for months. I'm so confused.

Recommend products and routines!

>> No.8571706

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

I have seborrhea dermatitis, which is pretty much just really bad dandruff. By doing the following things, I have no dandruff:

I don't use shampoo. I use 1 tablespoon baking soda + 1 1/2 cups water mixed in an old shampoo bottle that I cleaned out. For conditioner, I use Head and Shoulders conditioner.

Every saturday night, I put MCT oil in my hair. MCT oil is concentrated coconut oil. You can use regular coconut oil and it will work, but MCT stays liquid at room temperature so it's more convenient. I put the oil in my hair and let it sit over night. When I wake up in the morning, I wash it out with the baking soda mix and then condition.

Also add biotin to your daily vitamin regiment. I take one a day, except for saturday where I also take two at night before I go to sleep.

Without doing these things I have bad dandruff constantly; so if you're just having your average case of dandruff, this should fix it. If it's a constant thing like I have, then you'll just have to keep doing it to keep the dandruff away.

Hey bros. Can't believe I'm typing all this shit out but as a former shitskin (not talking about being brown or anything... no racist) I can't bear to see you all suffering so I'm here to help you all out with my weekly skin routine!!

>Oil Cleansing Method every night, water in the morning

The most important part of my daily skin routine. Before I started using the Oil Cleansing Method my skin was oily, acne prone and I had uneven red patches all over. After a week of being on the OCM all these problems were eliminated. My acne was basically gone, my entire face was an even skin tone and I could go all day without developing an oily shine that would normally form a few hours after washing my face.

For those of you unfamiliar with the OCM, its similar to "no poo" in that you basically eliminate the use of any chemical products to clean your skin. The reason for this is that these chemicals tend to fuck up your skin and often do more harm than good (such as increasing oil production of making your skin dry as fuck, or both).

Instead, using the OCM, you use various oils to clean your skin, such as a mixture of castor oil and sunflower seed oil. The reason it works is based on dissolution theory, which causes oil to dissolve other oils. Also, oils are rich in antioxidants and often have antibacterial properties. Certain oils also have certain unique properties. For example, Castor oil helps draw out dirt and shit from under your skin (never use it pure though, only heavily diluted in another oil).

You can probably find a list online somewhere of the effects of various oils. I currently using a mix of Jajoba oil (30%), Sunflower seed oil (30%), Hemp Seed oil (30%) and Castor oil (10%). You may have to experiment with different mixtures until you find the perfect one for you!

If you want to try it here's a step by step guide under the "The Oil Cleansing Method" heading: http://www.theoilcleansingmethod.com/ (ignore step 4 if you want because thats seriously really stupid and it will work regardless of your imagination. Also skip the last step)

I tend to do it almost every night but I'll skip it every one in a while. Also, it seems like a lot of work but it really only takes 5 minutes or so and it works!!
Also, if you are worried it won't work, do it on a small section of your face for a week or so and see what happens. I was desperate and did my entire face right a way but I'm glad I did since it worked so well!

>Egg white mask 2 times a week
Egg white mask literally acts like a face lift, tighening up your skin and making it smoother. The effects are noticable immediately.
All you do is get some egg white in a bowl (only the white! I hear the yolk can make you break out). Froth it with a fork the rub it slowly all over your face until it forms a sort of "mask". Careful to avoid your eyes and mouth. Also, wipe off any you get in your eyebrows. Then just leave it on your skin for 20-30 minutes. After about 15 minutes it will start to harden and stiffen your skin. After the 20-30 minutes, just rinse it all out with warm water. Then use some ice cubes and rub all over your face to finish up.

If you are doing this with the OCM do the OCM last (same goes with mixing anything with the OCM) and you can skip the ice cube.
I do this twice a week at night but if I have an event or something I'll do it right before going out since your skin looks amazing right after.

>Retinol Cream twice a week
Basic chemical exfoliate. Don't like to do it too often though so twice a week is enough for me. This is the only time I'll using a chemical based facial cleaner to clean my face after since I don't want to accidently leave this shit on my face. I'll do the OCM after using the chemical cleanser to restore facial oil balance though.

>Honey and Sugar exfoliate twice a week
This is simple. Mix honey and some sugar (make sure its not too thick) then just slowly and gently rub it all over your face. Then remove it with warm water and follow with the OCM. Acts as an exfoliate and removes dead skin and shit. Make sure you are VERY gentle since you don't want to irritate your skin. Also, try to space out using this at the retinol cream since they are both exfoliates (chemical and physical, respectively) and you really don't want to over do it.

The best part is all (well most... although you can always skip the retinol if you're scarring isn't that bad) of these methods use natural ingredients and it's all dirt cheap! Doing all this shit has basically given me perfect skin that all girls are mass jelly of. I also use a VERY light layer of BB cream (Missha perfect cover bb cream 21, ymmv) to cover any minor imperfections but honestly it's not even necessary (I'm just a paranoid fuck since I've had horrible skin all my life)

Good luck bros!

My skincare regime is a lot like what is found on

Basically morning routine is

1. Cerave cleansing in the shower.

2. A 2% Salicylic Astringent on a Sterile cotton pad after I get clothed to remove bacteria picked up from the towel.

3. 8% AHA toner & Paula's Choice 2% BHA Toner

4. Korean Hydrating Toner
>Rohto Hada-Labo Gokujyn Hyaluronic Acid Lotion

5. Facial Oil, I use Passion Fruit Seed oil and I like it a lot. Most people use JoJoBa oil

6. Moisturizer. Really make sure you need moisturizer as a lot can give you acne.

7. Sunscreen [Important]

Night Routine is the same but without Sunscreen and the addition of

1. After Acid Toners I apply Retin-A or you can apply a Vitamin-C serum / Retinol Cream

2. Snail Bee Lotion. [Highly reccomend, shit makes skin feel hella good in the morning]

Once a week I apply a 10% AHA Skin exfoliant to bring out natural luster.

Once a week, preferably some time after the 10% Exfoliant, I apply a 4% BHA pore cleanser as my trouble is with blackheads. Both of these cleansing are left over night.

The morning after a 4% BHA cleanse, I wash my face and apply a Mint-Julep mask, this sucks up all the shit that is now exposed.

Following this regimen your skin will be at least 10% better every week with most noticeable results in the first 2 weeks.

I fucking promise it.
