this was my school, in my last 2 years of tourism I had to wear a suit with a LIME FUCKING GREEN tie. Went to tailor to get it well-fitted. Got kicked out because it didnt fit the fucking school standards, but talked to the dean and shit and eventually I got them to agree, so I was the first in school with a well fitted suit. Felt good man.

It's a lose lose situation with my old schools uniform because the sweatshirts and trouser regulations meant it was unflattering as fuck as well as the fact the only shirts you ended up being able to wear and not pulled up on were boxy as fuck.

My private school was pretty lenient and had a lot of options on the uniforms you could wear, but the quality was absolute shit. We had polos as well as button downs. Choice of shorts or pants. I had my shorts and pants tailored every year. I'd wear a button down and a cardigan in the winter, and fall/spring I'd wear shorts and the polo. The polo didn't fit extremely badly suprisingly. The cardigan also fit well, which hid the shitty fitting of the button down. Oh, and we had our stupid crest labeled on everything except the pants. We could wear any shoes we wanted though, so that was a plus. Most autists wore gaudy bright colored shoes to clash with our monochromatic black/white/grey color palate. I just wore dark colored moccasins/driving shoes all the time. Wearing unis is a hard life. I wish I had just gone to public school.

As far as actual advice goes, there isn't really much you can do about it. Try to get things as well fitting as they possibly can be. Try to get some quality shoes if your school allows you to wear whatever you want shoe-wise. Maybe try to graduate early so you can go to uni/college.

Went to a private grade school as well, and a private preschool. All private school shit. There's no real difference in between it and public school, besides the money some people have and the connections you make.

Uniform was fine. White button up shirts. We could wear blazers or jackets over them/ Shit was monogrammed with the initials of the school. Slacks or pants that looked close enough to pass for dress pants were fine. Shoes had to be nice, no sneakers or anything like that. That was about it, along with a tie that was pattered with the school's colors, scarlet and grey.

Most notable thing about the school is that it's the oldest Army JROTC school in the US. But it's optional, now. The majority of the students go off to academies like West Point, The Citadel, etc. School is about 170 years old.

Went to a private Presbyterian school with a uniform. The uniform clothes all came from the same provider; you couldn't just go buy a white dress shirt.

5 shoes options (for men):
All white sneaker and school allowed only one style (Adidas, K-Swiss, forgot the other, but they all looked different)
Brown oxfords
Black oxfords

3 tiers of formality:
Khaki Shorts + Polo (Red, White, Blue / Longsleeved or short sleeved)
Khaki Pant + White/Blue dress shirt
Charcoal Pant + White/Blue dress shirt + striped tie (jackets available but not mandatory)

I liked it. No one bickered, it wasn't distracting as shit, I had all my clothes set out for the season, no worries. Everyone got away with their own style/twist on the uniform; rolling up sleeves a certain way, a bright accent color under the shirts, some tailored. Plus, girls in those tight dress pants and skirts? Yes please.
