I'm not really sure why but I've always hated wearing clothes that I didn't like. When I was younger it was hard because my family wasn't very well off so I didn't have a lot of clothes. I used to, and still do, feel weird and really off when I'm wearing something I think doesn't look good.

I started coming to /fa/ 2+ years ago out of boredom more than anything else. I spent all my time on /b/ and /r9k/ reading stories but never posting, and I never really noticed the fashion board before that. I wanted to start dressing better since I finally had a bit of money and independence.

I pretty much only stay here for the sense of community, and because I don't like any other boards/websites. I hate forum websites and think the imageboard format is way more appealing.

I don't like people who are "into" fashion though, they're usually annoying cunts. Most people I've seen/met who are into fashion have ulterior motives, like getting girls/guys, and don't want to put any actual time/money/effort into it.

Fashion is important because your physical appearance is the first thing people will notice about you, and the clothes you wear impact that greatly. Being conscious of the way you're portrayed is very important
