In the market for a new all-day general cologne.

My ex picked this out for me. And now I can't stand to wear it anymore.

Any suggestions?

Got a sample of Valentino Uomo with my Harvey Nichols order. Fucking beautiful scent. Might need to put a few extra sprays on though to make it last the distance.

Is it winter or summer in your country? I can offer a few suggestions. Fragrantica is a good online place to suss out some fragrances

>> No.8433798

Yves Laint Laurent Homme is a personal favourite, p summery vibes and not overpowering at all.

>> No.8433820

go 3 ur local department store nd sniff all the different fragrances

colgneo reacts differently to different skin. so it mite smell fire on me but on ur shitskin it might smell like shit

nondescript as fuck though. the best thing you can say about it is that its inoffensive

/fa/ is general has a hard-on for YSL's L'Homme line of fragrances, but La Nuit de L'Homme is the only one worth owning imo

I've been using Gucci Pour Homme II, so far I love it. I've gotten quite a few compliments on it as well.

It's light and citrusy, not an overpowering smell which would be nice for daily use. Great for the summer as well. It has a decent range, and it just smells wonderful. You'll catch yourself sniffing your wrists constanstly.

What? No?

Diesel and JPG are my cheap pleb-frags that I wear everyday to work. What's wrong with Tom Ford, Bvgari, CDG, Angel and Molecule 01?

Post your collection.

What does it smell like?

I really like the smell of Avignon but I don't know if I'd want to wear it. It's more suited to a room scent IMO (I know it comes as a candle and incense).

Try looking into scent alternatives like Maison Francis Kurkdjian's Incense paper. I like Frederic Malle's Rubber Incense if you're looking for something to change the scent of your home. They're available at Barney's and the scent combinations are notably interesting.

Blackbird Ballard has some really interesting takes on classic conical incense also.

Culti Stile has some cool diffuser scents, not too out-there, but not as cookie cutter as a Glade plugin.

If you think you can discern between strong patchouli overload (read: every stoner's bedroom ever) and well-crafted patchouli incense, try Mad et Len's 'De Bystance' incense.

Naturally Roja Perfumes
I bought my mother a Fornasetti incense set for mother's day. She said the scent is nice but inoffensive and takes no risks. The holder was the main part of the gift.

As far as candles go Roja Parfums has a few interesting fragrances and if you're tired of the typical mixes, you can try mixing a few different types of Jo Malone or Diptyque fragrances to build the scent environment that you like

Is this a good one?
I want a scent that's relaxing and summer like if you know what I mean

>> No.8436750

Great summer smell, imo.
A little too popular to my taste (as in, you can smell it on almost every street corner), but still very good.
I own it as an everyday perfume for the summer.

I'm thinking about buying it now, thanks
