wore them cause comfort. Anyways heres them cleaned up after yellow glow and shit washed off. Going to keep the leather bare on sides, and just going to repaint the left shoes toe box cause big ass scratch on it so I deglazed it.

I was encouraged to take bottom of ladder jobs at my school. Industrial designing courses teach you one thing, but when you get jobs and you have to hire people you have to know what they do and how they do it. You can't be afraid to get your hands dirty just because you are a designer, and when you do get your hands dirty you have to know what you are doing. Thats why I took the job. It pays well even as a work horse. I made 200 bucks a day for 10 hour work days. I learned how to stain and finish maple doors. Shits hard, but they look nice as fuck. Next week some rich fuck in Irvine wants us to trim some of his daughters cabinets with gold leaf. Can't wait. Anyways my shoes have not dried yet. Can't add paint.

Disregarding their price. It seems weird to wear white shoes for manual work. White clothing/shoes obviously show stains much easier.

Whether or not you like their beat up look, it'd make sense to try and take care of your new purchases.

Like people have said you should cop some wolverines/red wings/work boot similar if you want something effay. Not ones with leather soles though.

Thats true, but the work is unstable. One week you can make like 3k then suddenly you have no work for 2 weeks. You have to be skilled and available enough to keep contractors interested in employing you. People make livings on construction work. Best thing is to have a car and some tools of your own. Theres plenty of people willing to do the job, but most of them are unskilled and require transportation. Found some free lancer interior designer that gave me a job and he said this to me. He looks for educated guys that got at least HS education because he knows they will learn fast and have some common sense.
