Hey /fa/ I need help with my hair. It's pretty long at the top, if I let it be naturally it reaches my eyebrows. It's flat as fuck and pretty thick so I'm having a hard time doing anything with it. Every time I try to style it it droops down during the course of the day. I've tried different gels, waxes, pomades, blow-drying. It would be cool if it could go straight back but it never holds like that and I have big chunks of hair on the left and right side which looks ridiculously stupid.

Is the only solution to cut it shorter? Thanks in advance.

do you happen to be asian? If so try going to an asian hairdresser. Be very firm with the description of the hair you want though, especially if it is a lady. Even if you aren't an asian and just have thick but limp hair it's worth a try.

Regardless, try having your hair thinned, it's something most barbers and hairdressers are able to do.

Not Asian and I don't think there's any Asian hair dressers in this small town lmao. Either: Let a good hairdresser do it and ask him what stuff he is using, write down time and do the same thing hairdresser did at home with your roots. If you want to risk it at least use shit hairdressers use. Try 3% oxidation since your hair is light already.
