I really want to wear Dr Martens 1461's with a suit but everyone says they're too chunky too wear with suits and I have to disagree, I think they look fine. I think 1461's look fine because they are casual, it's almost like wearing Converse/sneakers with a suit except it has a more traditional formal look to them.
Something about the chunky shoe with the suit silhouette appeals to me as well, it seems kind of old-fashioned and kind of old-military looking.

Define casual suit.

Brown is meant to be the casual colour. I like greys and charcoals, people say they're a more formal colour reserved for serious business men but I want to take the colour back, wearing Docs with them, I would go for wool suits, heavier weight suit, heavier weight shoes kind of makes sense I think.
But yeah most of the time I'll probably just go with jeans and a jacket because it's more modern and acceptable but man, I just like wearing suits and I like wearing Docs.

It was and still is fairly common to have cropped hair rather than shaved, and "boot boys" don't even crop their hair they just have whatever hairstyle they want. Mohawks are also fairly common with people I know, but that's maybe too punk-influenced for you.

You should check out some of the more traditional skinhead fashion aswell, like the more mod-influenced stuff like crombies and oxford shoes rather than bombers and boots if you have to keep a low profile for your musical stuff.

For example the right outfit in this image is probably going to give you a lot more "Hey fuck you Golden Dawn piece of shit!" encounters than the left one since it looks a lot more mod-influenced and doesn't immediately bring to thought movies like American History X and Romper Stomper, while at the same time it's a totally acceptable skinhead look. Both sets look like shit though, but I'm not good with fashion kek.
