Heed my advice, OP. I have a similar hairstyle, that I've been working on the top for about 4 months or so. The whole golden-age revival style is coming back with hairstyles for men, minus those dreadful finger-wave curls. I'll post one of my own pictures real quick to show you. There's a lot you can do with this cut, you can pomp-it, blow dry it, straighten it, leave it curly, flip it to one side, it all looks alright. But it's useless if you take the cut too high. Spend some time working with it and decide exactly where you want that line to be, because once you shave off 4 or 5 inches of hair (in my case, 6 or seven) a bit too far over, t becomes a disaster, and just doesn't look right. If you can, shave the back as well there, Matt Healy. Mohawks are out, and what you've got right now, I'm sorry to say, is a mohawk.

the problem with achieving that hair style is that his shave is a gradual fade. from short (like what you've done to yours) to the longer parts at the top. id say shave it all around like youve done on one side,, wait 2-4 weeks then go get a pro to fade it for you. that would look the best
