On /fa/ and in most edgy young person fashion communities, anyway. If chukkas work with your style and you like them, then go ahead, but people here seem to dislike them now. I think it's because two or three years ago we were so big on the "peacoats and raws and cdbs" look that it's played out and seen as redditcore now, like you're not really cool if you're still wearing that stuff. But there's nothing inherently awful about them as shoes.

As for derbies, I don't think they're overly dressy at all, especially in suede. There's this one dude in some of my classes who wears a pair of brown derbies with contrasting off-white soles and it looks really good. Something like these with jeans would look fine.

Well so there's the color which only comes across so well online, they're peach colored, vividly peach colored. The leather can be a bit squeaky, err not squeaky, more creaky.

They are absurdly comfortable, like artisan footwear should be, and the quality of construction is where it should be too.

The laces are totally fine to tie, someone has complained about their shape on here, I've had no problems with my gats.

People take notice of the shoes very quickly because of their color, they won't patina much for quite a while though.

Buy them of Rakuten if you can, westerns are overcharging so hard it's ridiculous.

Cos are pretty good in general, but some of their things can be a bit hit or miss. If you can, visit a store to see for yourself as shipping is a bit much for something which might feel really cheap.

I really like their standard crew-neck t-shirts though, and they certainly hold up well to repeat washes with minimal shrinkage. I imagine the hemp front tee may be much the same, but I've found the items which can feel a bit cheap from Cos are when they try to get a bit adventurous with textures/materials. Exercise caution but if you like it, cop/

I have these. They are kind of shitty quality. The tongues stitching came apart after one hike and shit gets into them while you walk because of how the flaps are that have laces on them. The tongue should have covered that part but doesn't. For the price it's okay but it's up to you. On the plus side the silhouette is low and the laces are a nice color. I have been complemented on them before.

Those are nice. If you don't like the idea of a leather sole, take them to your local shoe repair store and get them to put on a rubber 'topy' guard on the sole of the shoe. I do this on all my dress shoes to save the leather sole getting ruined. Doesn't cost too much but it dramatically prolongs the time before they need a new sole.
