So i need a few new t-shirts for the summer.
I checked the sticky and it recommends t-shirts in a single color.
But i find those to look boring because there is nothing on it.
Yet you people are always against "graphic tees". Why is that? I prefer to have t-shirt with something on them. Is it really that bad?

Also
>tfw can't find any decent t-shirts in my favorite online store

Or basically tell me how a middle 20 guy is supposed to dress.

Back when i was a teenager i always got complimented by girls about how i dress but then i stopped giving a shit about clothes.
Tell me how to dress

graphic tees become focal and ruin an outfit because it all seems like a frame to whatever lame thing somebody else drew on your t-shirt. if you want to be fashionable you should focus on building outfits based on colour and shape, not on somebody else's drawings

OP, go with something like pic related. look for patterns, accentuated chest-pockets and other simple stuff like that. I also like shirts with small and simple branding (like fred perry for example) but I think /fa/ hates those.
Anyway, simple designs are not boring, just a lot more subtle and understated than 90% of graphic shirts.

>Yet you people are always against "graphic tees". Why is that?
Because graphic tees easily ''stick out'', and disrupt the ''flow'' of the fit. When you're wearing a fit where too much is going on, it not only becomes irritating to look at objectively, it also makes it that much harder for you to fit pieces of clothing together because you have to constantly be attentive to the design of the graphic.

Graphic tees can be okay as long as it fits with the rest of your outfit, which is harder compared to if you had worn a solid color tee. Generally you want to go with minimalistic graphics without too many colors, or you'll just make it harder for yourself.

>I prefer to have t-shirt with something on them. Is it really that bad?
It doesn't matter what you prefer, if it did you wouldn't be here asking for advice...
