What is do you guys think about this pre faded unwashed denim jacket visvim put out? I think it's a cool concept but, it seems like a way of cheating to get "authentic" raw fades.

I love denim jackets, but it's easy to fuck them up. People get really unorginal with them, probably because all the concepts are there and "Easy" to do.

also blue denim imo is difficult to color coordinate with, and rarely do i see anyone work with it.

Ignore the shit t-shirt and lack of a trim. Use the denim jacket a lot, great casual jacket for spring/summer.

Also, is it okay if a denim jacket runs a tiny bit small and the underneath shirt is exposed? I feel really fucking goofy sometimes but I also feel like if the jacket on this fit were longer the fit would be weird.

It's worst in the back for me. Lot of shirt seems to just sort of hang there and make an odd section. Oh well

Shit quality for shit people here.

that's pretty rad, one of the best pre-faded jackets i've seen
"authentic fades" is a dumb idea to begin with, the faded look is cool and if someone wants to pay enormous amounts of money for it then let them i guess

I'm a fan of Rogue Territory's supply jackets. I have a dark indigo one that I've been working on for a few months but no real fades yet. Had to wash it pretty early on cause I spilled some shit on it
Their desert wash one isn't that great of a pre-washed but still looks decent

This dude on reddit faded a Rogue Territory work shirt and I believe he washed it somewhat frequently too. If it's a similar fabric to the jacket you can get some pretty amazing fades with it.

Question: I have a denim jacket I want to make lighter and I know I can do this by washing it hot to make it bleed a bit. But will washing it hot also cause it to shrink? Or is it only drying it in the dryer that would cause it to do that?

The old styled ones have a cinch belt in the back. Could help.
