how could I easily get rid of the logo of this backpack? it ruins the color scheme and is annoying due to the bright-colored abominations that have been made based on this model. The texture of the logo can be scraped off but the patch seems to be very well sewed and I don't think it could come off easily.

The backpack doesn't differ e.g. from the >>8075214 which is as basic as it gets, the fjallräven just is more rectangular and has two handles. And it looks even more like the eastpack when it isn't completely full.

At this point it's pretty clear you just don't like popular things. The kanken is pretty basic as a backpack but still you somehow want to hate it just because other people wear it too.

Yeah, like half a century ago. Tents nowadays are made out of super light fabric/bonds, closer to your standard windproof jacket than waxed canvas. The flys are usually the only waterproof part, and it's just a silicone coating (or thereabouts) on the standard nylon tent fabric. No one wants to lug around a 15lb tent that is only mostly waterproof. And on that note, waxed canvas is not waterproof. It is extremely water resistant. The seams are not sealed, and the wax fades so quickly you often have to re-apply it twice a year (or more, depending on the usage it gets).
