Not very popular at at all, i rarely see them. AM1s and AM90s are the most popular shoes. Plenty of New Balances and Adidas gazelles around as well.

The majority of people get the Air maxes in the absolute shittest colourways but have seen a few people with cool all white/blackwhite ones

Ya, AF1s is one of the shoes i wouldn't get black/white in, tbh i think theyre supposed to be white shoes really, the other colours look shit. I agree for the current trends they're a bit fresh looking, if you beat them up a bit and got that nice yellow sole on them though they'd look sick. I'd personally go for mids (lows look wierd if you have average - above average size feet, and tbh if you wear highs with raws or something you can't really cuff your jeans that high so they will probably bleed onto the shoe).

When i said black/white i was more referring to stuff like roshes, flyknits, frees (which im sure you've seen, don't see to many flyknits around though maybe cause they are more pricey) and air maxes can look good in black/white, like in this pic.

Im tempted to get black/white air maxes as they'd be alright to wear to clubs/bars without trashing them too quickly, white AMs would be fresh for like 2 nights out then fucked forever cause of the material, not worth it imo

Yeah dude they're decent and proper comfy. Get that newer 'smooth' looking model if you can, the black ones with white sole.

They're just standard really, if you do want something more interesting I'd go for Nike Free 2s or Flyknits, but don't get these just to be edgy/different, cop if you like them better.

Theres also adidas flux's, but imo they are just a shittier looking alternative to roshes and the sole looks like shit, i think people are only copping them on here to be less mainstream

where the fuck do you live? here i'd say i rarely see a pair of AF1s, if anything i'd say its like a 5-10:1 ratio of roshes to AF1s, especially as summer is slowly on its way and they are bigger/chunkier/warmer

Because something is common amongst the /fa/ggot crowd doesn't mean it is in reality. roshes/freeruns are getting more common but so what? They look good.

If you want to be slightly ahead, look at Nike Air Max Janoski, the red ones look pretty great, my pic is the black/white option.

Depends what you consider 'normalfag' i guess. I think your average young person with no interest in fashion and just wears standard shit probably won't, but most of the people I hang with have at least some vague knowledge of streetwear brands and footwear and would probably at least ask about them even if they didn't recognise.

Never been a huge fan of the highs, i always favoured slightly chunkier high tops and more subtle lows, i think the attraction of the lows is they have a very fresh, streamlined look that you don't get with the majority of other shoes
