I've had a bit of experience with getting jeans hemmed. Here's what you want to do:
-cuff your jeans. see if you like how they look like this instead if getting them hemmed. once they're hemmed they won't have that extra length to cover boots or high tops or whatever so make sure you're for sure
-if you're sure, do small cuffs and increase the cuff size bit by bit and see how it changes the stackiness. get it where you want and measure it. then have your tailor crop them an inch or two longer than that. The worst thing was when I first started getting into nicer denim and ruined the second pair of jeans I bought because I thought i'd want to eliminate stacking. always leave just enough to allow for some stacking
- if the jeans aren't very nice just phase them out with nicer denim or cut them yourself. don't waste money on cheap denim
- if they're selvedge make sure you take them to a tailor who won't fuck em up
- better to hem too little than too much

Okay, my personal opinion:

-Oxford+flat front khaki shorts doesn't go with what to 99% of the popular look like cheap tired sneakers you'd wear to wash your car.

-The cuffing is trying for some kind of hipster /fa/ aesthetic but the overall fit isn't good enough to pull it off.

-Shirt is slightly too big. It also says "older dude" to me but I'm not sure why.

For that shirt and shorts, get more interesting shoes. For those shoes, get a more casual shirt. For those cuffs get a better fit.
