ITT: Post the bike you are currently riding, the bike you want, or anything related to bicycles.

Pic related is kinda what i'm looking for, just a nice, black, sleek, fa bike to get around the city with.

the problem with posting bikes on /fa/ is that i dont think anybody here actually cares about the functionality of a bike and just wants a pretty black and white fixie to ride around and take pictures of.

yeah sorry i actually agree. most people who are into DOPE FIXIES n stuff like that are super obnoxious and aren't really able to appreciate anything else.

as for the op bike, it bothers me because it's anachronistic as fuck. gaping clearances but no rack or fender mounts? i feel like it's going for the singlespeed look but gets everything wrong that it can possibly get wrong.

I actually got into cycling because it had a lot of crossover with techwear, clothing that's made to look nice but be flexible and resist the elements

That being said does anyone know a pair of nice lightweight gloves? I've been looking at the Outdoor Research Biosensor ones for touchscreen but merino isn't very windproof.

the frame doesn't matter as much as the wheels and the drivetrain bozo, even less when its on a track bike thats ridden on the streets.

like i said not my bike. it's like the second image result on google lol (or rather the first one that looks good)

the main similarity with my own bike is the frame and the bars (since i don't have stupidly heavy deep-section wheels either) and honestly i don't think there's anything wrong with a pursuit frame. looks cool yo.

not only is that ugly as fuck, but those bikes are notoriously low-quality. if your budget is in the 3-400 range, i strongly recommend either a used bike or one of these:

http://bikesdirect.com/products/mercier/kilott_stripper.htm

http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/motobecane/uno.htm (shitty weather)

but really just find someone who knows bikes and have them browse craigslist with you.

I'll never understand people who go full /fa/ when it comes to bikes. Walk around Boston/Cambridge and you see all these retardedly expensive velodrome track bikes, with fixed gears and no brakes, chained up outside coffee shops and bars.

They trying to win an Olympic gold medal in fashion?
