So I'll start with the problem I'm having...
I used to wash my hair every day when I had long hair and I thought I wouldn't do it when I cut my hair because it won't get that oily but I was wrong, I keep washing it every day and now I don't know how to stop doing it, I mean when I don't wash it, it gets so oily that I can't make anything with my hair.
I know I should just stop washing it every day and natural oils will get to their "place" but I can't go with my oily hair anywhere, any tips ?
Btw I'm currently having similar hair like on the picture I've included, if it helps by any means.

Invest in a hat/beanie.
From there, survive a day or two without using any shampoo or conditioner. Thoroughly scrub your hair in the shower with your fingers for a good couple minutes.
Then, after a few days of not washing, fill the bottom of a cup with baking soda and take it in the shower with you. Fill up the cup with water and mix it up (should be cloudy water). Then work that through your hair and let it sit for a few minutes.
Then rinse and possibly apply conditioner if your hair becomes too dry.

Shampoo sucks. I had a hard time believing it, so I weened myself off of it and only use conditioner when washing my hair now. And I only do that about 3-4 times per week. On days where I don't wash with conditioner I just rinse my hair, and apply a small amount of conditioner to my hair after toweling off.

My hair is 9001 times softer and almost manageable. I'm plagued with frizzy, almost wavy hair. It doesn't like to behave, but the above routine is making it actually look half decent.

Natural oils? Rinsing my hair and using conditioner in place of shampoo a couple times a week is keeping the oil under control.

Random hair-cutter woman suggest putting a small amount of conditioner in my hair to help control frizz. It works well and doesn't leave my hair feeling nasty.

Plenty of people get really nerdy about the whole no-poo thing. I'm just a normal dude that has found shampoo is completely useless since I work in an office all day. Even after the gym, I'll take a shower and only rinse my hair. My hair is very soft even after that. No problems at all.

You always have to cut it in the balance of hair a bit longer in front and cleaned up around the sides and back. Too short loses the front flow, too long makes your hair clump in large sweeps. No fun.

There's not much else to do, because the shape of your hair is probably due to placement of your crown. Parting it the other way will look terrible, so never do that. You have two options really: keep parting it the same way and trim the bangs occasionally to give the whole thing individual flow, or use some surf spray to give it a matte finish and point your bangs down sort of like pic related (just pointed more down.)

Also, to avoid the One Direction skater douchebag look, make sure you always use a minimal amount of conditioner. Just a tinge, because you want your hair to have individual parts instead of one lazy helmet-head swoop. Same goes for shampoo, minimal amounts. And focus less on the front and more on the crown, back, and sides.

I put conditioner in my hair after toweling my hair dry whenever I shower at home (every night). When you apply it your hands should only feel a little wet when your done. You shouldn't feel like you have conditioner all over your hands.

If you don't use product you could probably just not rinse your hair every night eventually. Do it every-other night or whatever. I use American Crew Fiber in my hair and like to rinse it out at night before bed.

Don't be afraid to play around. I'd start by washing with conditioner (maybe shampoo one or twice a week to start and get used to it) and apply a small amount of conditioner to leave in your hair when it's damp.

From there, phase out the shampoo. Then use less conditioner in the shower, only do the conditioner wash every other day. Find a happy medium, but this is how I started out.

Hey, 20/male here. Sometime last summer I woke up and a lot of the left side of my hair was suddenly white. Not bleached white, not "kind-of-white" -- it had somehow lost all pigment during the night. It was ok for awhile because I didn't have classes, then once I did it was cold enough to wear a hat and only have to show my white eye brow. The left half of my mustache is white also when I forget to shave too many days in a row. But now that it's getting warmer I'm kinda screwed.
The only thing I can think of that may have caused it was that I was doing some weird meditation shit where I focused on one thing for prolonged periods of time, which often gave me some head pressures. I got the white hair around then, but thinking logically about it it sounds like bullshit to say that that's what caused it.

OP, I have the same problem as you. My hair gets oily pretty fast and starts to get "ropey" and looks icky.

I have however, found a solution.

1. So wash and rinse hair with shampoo as normal, using cool/lukewarm water.

Because if the water is too hot it makes the follicles on your head produce more oil. (much like your face does when it's hot outside)

2. Use a LIGHT conditioner on your scalp and roots. One that does not have sillicones in it. Silicones cause build up. (ex: dimethicone. basically any ingredient ending in "cone" is a silicone.) Leave the conditioner your hair for a few minutes. The conditioner will hydrate your scalp and roots, causing it too produce less oil. I prefer to use a light herbal botanical conditioner.

3. Rinse in cold water. This seals the cuticle, and prevents your scalp from producing more oil.

By this routine, my hair won't look oily til like the 3rd or 4th day after I wash it. And normally I have super oily hair. The key here is conditioning the scalp. I used to avoid putting conditioner on the scalp because I thought that'd only cause more grease, but it's actually just the opposite. (as long as you're using a light conditioner).

I think so. exfoliate by scrubbing your skin until it is pale red once a week or so. Use face cream and apply tea tree oil/acne cream as needed. Thats how I do anyways. Sleeping on a clean towel every night will help acne too

Does anybody have any product/styling tips to get this look?

My hairline is just starting to recede at the temples, and I want to make the most of it before it gets too advanced and I have to shave it all off forever.

I have very similar hair texture (and colour) to ol Jude here, but when I try to style my hair like this it either gets too 'separate' and frizzy/poofy, or clumps together too much and looks patchy at the temples.

these hairstyles only last for a very short amount of time. Believe it or not the models hair also fluffs out and looks like shit after awhile.
You can achieve something similar but without the wet look.

after getting out of shower towel dry until your hair is damp
apply about a nickel size amount of pomade onto your hands then rub your hands together then finger comb your hair back.
Once you've done this just use a hair dryer while again finger combing your hair in the style you want.

the hair dryer makes the pomade hold stronger and last longer.

Just got out of the shower and tried this. Unfortunately I had my usual problem of my hair not wanting to stay straight back, so it eventually fell off to the sides into an unwanted side part. The only way I can ever get my hair to stay straight back is to brush it back hard when it's completely wet, blow dry it back, wait for it to dry completely, then carefully apply the clay.

Every time I do that though I end up looking like Silvio from The Sopranos, way too neat and orderly.
