Let's start a discussion here... what do you guys prioritize in terms of clothing? More specifically, I'm talking about which article of clothing (outerwear, shoes, pants) do you personally find to be the most important in putting together an outfit as along with which you prioritize when buying.

i mean, everything is important, the one thing you can't really fake is shoes

there's a muuuuuuuuuch higher gap in quality between say 30>100>500 dollar shoes than there is a 20>100>500 dollar shirt

Shoes and outerwear are the most important, you can get away with complete basic shirts/jeans/tees if your outerwear and footwear are rad

You can wear the same outerwear and footwear everyday and no one will bat an eye so they are your best bet,

I tend to basic bitch tops and pants (if you consider acne-tier basic bitch) and go all out on outerwear and footwear.

Bottom up imo

Shoes are most important, then bottom. they create the foundation, the plinth for the rest of the fit.

Shoes > Bottom > Top > Outer Layer(s) > Accessories
