I don't know if i like this show or not

i have watched 5 episodes i think. Some of the writing is nice and the acting is good, but what is this show actually about? All this lead to a lead to another lead bullshit when they are trying to trace that guy is truly boring, it almost seems like a way to waste time because they were short of actual ideas for a tv show. So far I'd say its a pretty bog standard cop drama with a bit of philosophy chucked in. Has nowhere near the plot complexity or diversity of characters as a show like the wire.
