I live in Vancouver, last year a friend and I walked into the venue while we were passing by it on day 1 without tickets, it was a complete joke

We were with a patternmaker from Japan and all of us had a good laugh
Jamal is a jew nigga, charges the designers a shit ton to showcase their (shitty) work and is a really big fucking creep. Designers for the most part are shit tier, with a few invited from overseas that are student work tier with the exception of maybe 1 or 2.

Have 2 model friends here and have worked with a lot of models for a show last year, but altogether pretty much every single part of the "industry" here is a joke

Might be fun to do on the side for a while I guess OP, but unless you're Simon Nessman / David Chiang / Justin Sterling tier nothing is going to happen for you outside of Van
