General hair thread

My question: I've combed my hair daily for a long time, but I wanted to see if using a hair brush made any difference, and I really prefer the brush to the comb. My hair brush is old and shitty, so I was wondering whats the best hairbrush you can get. I normally use product and brush it all the way back

They say that things in the past are viewed with the most clarity. I had long hair a few years ago and looking at it now I see how autism-core it was, but I'm not sure if it looks so bad this way. What do you think?

Ears sticking out look kinda childish, and longer hair would hide that. I have a weird head shape, and you can't tell thanks to my hair.

That's what I deal with when growing my hair out, I can never stick through it and grow it out to a decent length I always just end up cutting it.

Yo. I currently got the hitler youth hair cut.

Will I be able to grow out my hair without it being uneven and retarded on the sides and back of my head?
Since the top and front are currently longer.

Will I need to get a hair cut in the future and make sure the length is all even?

Or will my hair naturally work itself out over time?

So, I'm considering something like this, but unsure of how much of a pain it would to actually get something accurate to it, as I'm not really looking to spend more than $30 on a haircut.

Also considering the "fashion bowlcut" but I think that's almost me humouring myself more than anything.

I usually go to Great Clips and get a cheap hair cut. My whole life I winged it and just told them to cut it down to an inch and make it short.

Now, I would like to try out a hairstyle, but I'm not sure what to go for. It looks like I have a square-shape face and most advice is to go for short on the sides and longer on top.

Should I go to GC and ask their advice or try to look for an expensive hair salon?

i personally don't think pic 3 is that bad, it's the least middle school out of them. if you cut it there's nothing wrong with a HY, it's a decent cut still

I just use "Head and Shoulders" the one that prevents hair falling but once every three days the other times I don't wash it or even put some water on it, it took me about 3 years from almost scratch, I get a haricut every year or something like that.

It was awful but you just do whatever you have to do until your hair is the right length
What you want is the front and back parts of your hair to be as long as eachother so they can meet up without the front parts not being able to be tied up and the back not sagging down ball-sack style

Also, HYs don't look amazing on most people and don't look good from every angle.

what should i use to style my hair like this? atm, i just style it when it's wet & bc no-poo my hairs pretty malleable so it stays there.. but it could still do with some product in it.
