A thread for cheap-asses who don't want to look like hobos.

Besides Thrift Stores and Wal-Mart, what are some good places to look for moderately good looking clothes that won't break the bank?

If you are dedicated enough, you will be able to find great gear at thrift stores.

This is when people will be eager to say:
>finding designer gear at thrift stores
As if that is the only way to look nice (of course people have found designer clothes thrifting) .

Get the Waze app on your phone, type in "thrift" and go to all the stores in your area, and any area you are in.

yuh
buy one or two pairs of quality denim (scored a pair of Naked & Famous on eBay for $20 and a pair of APC for $40, both practically new) in black or a dark indigo
then get basics like plain t-shirts, parkas, shirts, a jacket or two
from there, add more interesting pieces and higher end basics

sauce: I am primarily an eBay/thrift store shopper because of being poor. nearly all the money from my jobs goes to rent, bills, etc.

I saw a yellow Ralph Lauren polo today for $4 at Vinnies, too bad it wasn't my size nor did I like the design very much.

Ive got my basics from H&M and then I pick up nice quality lothing to replace it from second hand stores.

>> No.7793082

well you're going to look like shit if your not willing to splash out on your 'smart' clothes. it's one thing not wanting to buy £80 t shirts but you can't pull of the corporate fuck look if you don't actually have the money. h&m tier is your only option apart from thrifting really. i think male fashion advice would be more helpful for you than /gothninja/

i more mean designer stuff/nicer standard sneakers - common projects, kva, ro ramones

i don't like vans/converse/etc or generally canvas sneakers
