I really hope you guys can help me with it. Once I get out of the shower, my hair basically looks like pic related, thick, dry, and kinda sticky, pointing away from my head in every direction.
I usually put on a beanie for some time before I leave the house to flatten it so I don't look like a hedgehog.
Any idea how to fix this? I basically want it to look flat without having to wear some kind of beanie or hat before the house. Product doesn't help either.
Just for the record, I shower daily, use shampoo everytime, no conditioner, then run around with a beanie, then apply product and style it.

Being ugly is pretty ordinary, but if we're talking in terms of standards for attractiveness, it's not ordinary. If he wasn't a mouthbreather, he wouldn't have a tiny chin and that low grade slope where his neck connects. That's one of the marks a mouthbreather when looking at profiles.

I'm not sure if it looked like in pictures in Miles. Not necessarily because he possibly takes meticulous care of his hair, but you mentioned it's thickness. It can be a good thing, but you might need to decrease it's volume, so it will stay "near" head rather than it's opposite. Also considering you mentioned your hair are straight, it might reduce a possible problem with volume.

For me, i have quite thick hair and it's not really straight, even through i used straightener some time ago. I did let grow my hair to shoulder length once, then i cut it and then i did let it grow again and not going with scissors near it. Might be case of stress and basically lot of things going on around me, but when i had long hair for first time before cutting then, they seemed more to black color and healthier. I hope things get better. And for reference, here's picture of my hair from behind, it still got me some compliments and envy from women so it's probably not that bad, but /fa/ is my judge now, there you go.

I think it looks great like it is on the left, I'd keep it like that. The best way to wear curly hair like that is medium length I think, unless you can do it up into one of those sick curly HYs that you see occasionally.

But for you, even if you could do it into one of those sick curly HYs, I think the medium length suits your face and build better. HY is better for thin guys, not built guys.
