Anyone here ever gotten surgery for purely aesthetic problems?

I'm eighteen and a 5/10 at best. I don't want to get model tier looks because that will never happen, but I just want to become objectively attractive. Get a nosejob, perhaps jaw surgery. I don't know how much it would run for though.
Pic related has gotten me motivated to save up to do something about my appearance. I truly feel like it'd lift a huge burden off my shoulders.
Any other /fa/ggots in the same case? What do you not like about your facial features that you'd like to fix?

I got a nose surgery last year, i had a deviated septum, so i got a nose surgery covered by my insurance, but we knew the doctor who did the operation, he is a plastic surgeon who also did my freinds nose, so i talked to him and besides straighten the septum he also straigten my nose like the OP's picture, the second row, and i must say it really helps a lot, if you can you should get a nose surgery, i mean my nose was worst than OP's picture and the result is unbelievable. if you have any question about the surgery ill be happy to answer.

well if its really noticeable and you are ok with getting a surgery i would say go for it, but only if you are really going to see a change, but if it just only a thing that bugs you and people seem to not notice that i say dont do it (about the leaning problem) about the bulbous nose im not sure but i think they modify?(i dont know how to say it) the cartilage and the recovery time for this types of surgery is longer and you have to be more careful. For me they operated the bone so my recovery time was kinda short (2-3 months)
Btw at least 1-2 weeks after the surgery you are going to be really uncomfortable (like REALLY uncomfortable)

The only surgery i would recommend for people with big ears is otoplasty.

It cost close to nothing, no need for full anesthesia and you're out two hours later.

I actually just had my jaw done a few days ago, I only just got out of hospital

Recovery is a bit of a bitch right now, I can barely open my mouth, my face is swelled up so badly that I look like a chipmunk and there's bruises all the way down my neck.
It doesn't really hurt though, mostly because I'm having like 12 pills a day which is annoying in it's own right and they're making me constipated

I can't really see the results yet but I'm sure I'll be happy I did it, sure the recovery sucks but it's only for a week or two and it's nothing too bad

i had a rhinoplasty and septoasty. my nose was massive and my septum was extremely deviated to the point where my profile looked different if you looked at me from either side. i dont have any before pictures on my phone but pic related is me afterwards.

anyone worried about the cost, if there is any medical aspect to the surgery then insurance will cover only that aspect. if you want anything done cosmetically, it will come out of your own pocket. i went to a surgeon outside of my hmo because the guy they sent us to didnt give me a good vibe and he had no pictures of his work. though, if you ask, the surgeon might knock the price down. my surgery was 7000 but i explained that im starting college soon and tuition is high n all that so he said hed totaly be willing to do it for 6000. theres honestly no harm in asking for a lower price because they might do it.

the recovery sucked dick. i passed out from the vicodin and i swallowed blood bleeding from my nose down into my throat for the entire first week. i swallowed so much my shit was black from all the blood. granted, all this was pretty abnormal for a recovery and my nose was pretty fucked up.
